Fulton County Health Center is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and working with the Fulton County Health Department, Ohio Department of Health, and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Ensuring patients and our employees are cared for in a safe and healthy environment is one of Fulton County Health Center’s top priorities. To promote the safety and well-being of FCHC patients and the general public, proactive measures to prevent an outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), FCHC has been implemented:
Facemask must be worn in FCHC facilities.Wash or sanitize hands often and must be done before leaving patient roomsLimit touching multiple surfaces in the patient room.Avoid visiting if having symptoms of COVID-19, been recently in close contact with someone that has COVID-19, or tested positive within the past 10 days.For those that cannot visit a loved one, ipad technology is available for communication, ask your primary nurse or nursing supervisor if assistance is needed.Only patients meeting certain criteria will be tested for COVID at FCHC. Visitor Restrictions
Due to COVID activity in Fulton County, FCHC has updated our visitation policy which is as follows:
In-patient visiting hours are 8:00am to 6:30pm daily.
Two (2) visitors at a time are allowed throughout the patients staySurgery/Procedures:
Two visitors/companionRemain in designated areas and follow staff instructionsObstetrics:
Two visitors/companionSiblings with prior arrangementNursery – Birth Parent plus one additional personEmergency Department:
Two designated visitors will be allowed back in the exam rooms for both adult and pediatric patientsIf patient is COVID positive the patient’s care team will discuss options and appropriateness for visitors at that time.ER waiting room is open while maintaining social distancing.If patient is COVID positive the patient’s care team will discuss options and appropriateness for visitors at that time.ER waiting room is open while maintaining social distancing.Out-Patient services:
Two companions may accompany patient to appointmentBehavioral Health:
Two visitors at a timeVisitors must be approved by the Social Services department (weekend visitors-approved by nurse)Each patient or their designee complete a visitor approval form which identifies the visitor’s name, relationship, and contact information.Limited visitation policy includes FCHC Employees that have family members who are in the hospital.
Exceptions may be given for visitors of patients who are at the end-of-life. Discuss with nursing staff.
NOTE: All staff, patients and visitors must remain vigilant in wearing masks, performing hand hygiene, and maintaining social distancing to protect each other from COVID during this time. Together we will get thorough these challenging times.

At FCHC Behavioral Health, we can help. We provide a wide range of mental health services for adults and older adults. Services offered are Adult Outpatient, Adult Partial Hospitalization, Geriatric Inpatient including a Geriatric PICU and Geriatric Intensive Outpatient.
Fulton Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation
Fulton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a 71-bed skilled and intermediate nursing unit and a 15-bed independent living unit on the Fulton County Health Center campus, places equal emphasis on quality of life and quality of care for our residents. Fulton Manor Nursing Home is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and also accepts insurance and private pay residents
