Camden County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., and Emergency Remote Meeting Protocol for Local Public Bodies, N.J.A.C. 5:39-1.1 et seq., the meeting on May 23, 2022 of the Camden County Municipal JIF, a public entity established under N.J.S.A. 17:1-C-6E, 17:1-8.1 and N.J.S.A. 40A: 10-36, will be held remotely at 5:15 pm via the Zoom platform.

Members of the public may participate in the meeting at the designated time by using the web link https://permainc.zoom.us/j/99124391172  on your phone, computer or tablet or by calling 312-626-6799 and entering the ID 991 2439 1172 followed by the # sign. Individuals calling into this number will be able to fully participate in the meeting, including providing public comment. A non-public dial-in number will be used if executive session is required.  Official action will be taken.

The Camden County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund commenced operations on February 1, 1987, shortly after the New Jersey legislature’s enactment permitting communities to form self-insurance funds. The fund was initially organized by a charter group of 13 Camden County municipalities. This year, the Fund would like to welcome Pennsauken Township, bringing the total membership to 38 members. The mission of this Fund is to provide a safe environment for the member agency’s employees and the residents they serve, protect the assets of its members, and contain costs through joint purchasing of insurance and sharing of services and staff.

The Camden County Joint Insurance Fund is considered a public body and is required to follow the Local Public Contracts Law, Open Public Meeting Act, Open Public Records Act, and New Jersey State Ethics Law. This website has been developed in an effort to allow members of the public to obtain information regarding the administration and operation of the Fund.
