Good day! I was honored to be chosen as the Executive Director and President of Mary’s Path in June of 2020. I have spent nearly 30 years in the non-profit sector, and I’m deeply committed to finding solutions for social change that affect the most vulnerable within our society. I started in the faith-based community in 1992 and I have once again been called back to my roots. I see Mary’s Path as my calling – a career choice on a journey that has led me full circle to serve the ones I started out to serve so many years ago.

Who Are Our Residents?
The majority of the teen mothers we serve are currently in the foster care system.
Most of our clients have experienced some kind of trauma – homelessness, neglect, abuse – and come to Mary’s Path as a safe haven.
Are between 12 to 21 years old and represent the spectrum of those in the foster care system both long term (life-span) or recently entered.

We are 1 of only 4 residences in all of California that serve this vulnerable population.
Residents of Mary’s Path are learning to be mothers, in addition to learning to be adults.
The overarching focus of our residents remains consistent – Family. All want or need a family or are suffering severe trauma from loss or lack of family.
For pregnant and parenting teens Mary’s Path provides a safe harbor to heal, become a nurturing parent, and discover academic and workplace potential.
More than 1,100 teen moms and 700 babies have resided at Mary’s Path over the course of our 27-year history.

Mary’s Path receives support from government agencies, foundations, associations and houses of worship, and caring individuals with gifts large and small. We could not provide a nurturing home for the teen moms and babies entrusted to us without this help.
2020 was a challenging year for us, as for many nonprofits. Costs to serve our teen mothers and their babies have increased by 30% in this pandemic and we urgently need to raise funds to close the gap. Will you support us with a donation today?
