微創手術是現今外科手術的大勢所趨，與傳統手術相較，微創手術的傷口小、組織破壞少、疼痛少、恢復快、後遺症也較少。脊椎微創手術的雖然發展較遲，但各項先進手術技術也像雨後春筍般不斷推陳出新，手術傷口越來越小，治療結果越來越好，就好像魔術一樣令人歎為觀止。國內礙於微創手術技術的高難度及所醫療設備的高價，只有少數幾家醫學中心能提供微創脊椎手術的服務，專門研究和進行微創脊椎手術醫師更是寥寥可數。在板橋亞東醫院，微創手術是我們努力發展的核心專長之一，院方除了斥資購入先進的醫療設備及儀器外，也鼓勵年輕醫師出國進修學習，在大家的辛苦努力之下終於有了不輸新進國家的水準，也交出了不少漂亮的成績單。 門診的時間相當有限，醫師往往沒有辦法在短短幾分鐘之內把病情解釋清楚，對於需要手術治療的病人而言，這樣的窘境更為難堪，病人如果在不了解病情的情況下接受手術，就可能因為溝通不良衍生不必要的醫療糾紛。台灣的健保制度雖好，但給付制度仍然相當不合理，所以這樣的情形在短時間內不大可能改善，然而現今網路發達，每個人都可以在網路上搜尋到許多有用的資訊，但網路資源過於豐富，各家說法莫衷一是，真真假假又讓人無所適從；因此，我們希望透過這個網路平台，讓病人可以進一步了解我們在門診時無法說明清楚的手術細節， 也讓沒有辦法到門診與醫師當面討論的家人能有參與決策的機會。<<< Thank you for your visit >>>
