The primary goal of thispage is to present AIU's open courses to the world.All courses on this page are free and open tothe public without any requirements for registrationor payment. These online courses are intendedto be easily taken independently, without supervisionor guidance at a pace defined by the user. Eachopen course includes all necessary video conferences,lectures, course materials, and even tests. Testsare offered as a tool for the user at the endof each lesson to verify that learning, retentionand comprehension of the material presented haveoccurred. However, the tests are optional andthe full online course content and lessons areavailable at once to users.Through Open Access, AIU and other leading institutionsthrough out the world are tearing down the barriersto access and use research literature and academicmaterials. Our organization is interested in thedissemination of advances in scientific researchfundamental to the proper operation of a modernsociety, in terms of community awareness, empowerment,health and wellness, sustainable development,economic advancement, and optimal functioningof health, education and other vital services.AIU’s Missionand Vision is consistent with the vision expressedin the Budapest Open Access Initiative and BerlinDeclaration on Open Access to Knowledge in theSciences and Humanities. Some selected StudentPublications are also available for this purpose: StudentPublications.Therefore, to fulfill the intent of this initiative,Atlantic International University will make progressencouraging our students, faculty, researchers,grant recipients to publish their work accordingto the principles of the open access paradigm.encouraging the holders of cultural heritageto support open access by providing their resourceson the Internet.advocating that open access publication berecognized in promotion and tenure evaluation.advocating the intrinsic merit of contributionsto an open access infrastructure by softwaretool development, content provision, metadatacreation, or the publication of individual articles.provide open courses /free courses in the Spanish language tofurther expand their usability around the world.
