If you do not have a face mask, we will gladly provide one for you.We reserve the right to refuse any patron that we feel is displaying any cold or flu symptoms, so please do not enter the library if you are not feeling well.We are asking patrons to please limit their amount of time in the building to 30 minutes each visit if possible.Curbside services will still be available for patrons who do not wish to enter the building.Appointments will still be scheduled for patrons who wish to enter the library without other patrons inside.While we will make every effort possible to make the library a clean and safe place for everyone, we cannot guarantee a germ free environment. We urge you to take precautions in the building. Curbside Pick-Up of materials is now available at Peabody Memorial Library! What is Curbside Pick-Up?Curbside Pick-Up allows patrons to pick up library materials that have been placed on hold. The library has a designated Curbside Pickup Location clearly marked by signage for service during the closure.When can I pick up items using Curbside Service?Curbside Service is available by appointment only at this time.How do I use the Curbside Service?Place items on hold using the library s online card catalog or contact the library at 497-3003. If you do not remember your login info, please contact us and we will get that information to you. Library staff will prepare your items for pickup and contact you to arrange a pick-up time. A number will be assigned to you which will coincide with the number on your pickup package. Go to the Library’s designated Curbside Pickup Location. When you arrive at the Library’s Pickup Location, please abide by social distancing protocols. If there is already someone in the area of the pickup location, please remain in your vehicle until it is your turn.How do I return library materials?You may return your Library materials using the exterior book drop.What safeguards are in place with regard to books being reissued?Books picked up using Curbside Service will not have been used by another patron for at least a week. In order to safeguard the health of patrons and staff, Peabody Memorial Library is quarantining all items for 7 days after their return.
