Preparation for the 2021 A Girl A Gun Fall Fest is underway! Match Director Julianna Crowder and Rangemaster John Crowder spent four days at the Lucas Oil Cattle Ranch plotting out stage locations and creating courses of fire that are not only fun, but challenging the for the experienced shooter yet welcoming to those who are newer to multigun sports. Competitors will sling rifles and engage targets out to 600 yards, run through wooded paths shooting on the move, and use a few unique props and platforms that are special to the Lucas Oil Ranch that will make this match memorable and one you don t want to miss! Many things have changed over the past ten years. We have more quality holster options and firearms for women than ever before. AG AG hosts more events at more ranges than ever before. And our 3-Gun Shield Logo represents our league today, whereas ten years ago, we had a simple, classic art deco logo. On the other hand, many aspects of AG AG remain the same. Women still join A Girl A Gun to find companionship among women and learn a vital life skill. We have the highest standards of safety and quality leadership. Celebrate the success of our sisterhood with our beautiful silver and gold anniversary logo on some of our favorite items: One of the most popular training topics at the 9th Annual A Girl A Gun National Conference Presented by GLOCK was precision rifle. More than 40 women were able to participate in the training, which was led by Russell Anthon and Hank Ownbey of Defenders USA. Participants enjoyed Ruger precision rifles with Vortex optics and Hornady ammunition. Recently A Girl A Gun Women s Shooting League (AG AG) hosted its 9th Annual National Conference. All 450 participants were required to go through a gear check process where their handguns, belts, holsters, and mag pouches were all reviewed and function checked. The following lists the most popular brands and models that the women brought to training. April 2021 was another whirlwind for AG AG! We welcomed new members, opened new chapters, connected with new host ranges, and of course, hosted our biggest National Conference to date. Here are some of the highlights. This is a great organization! I joined last year and in addition to learning more about shooting, I ve made some really great friends. This organization helps you learn, compete and stay abreast of gun laws in your own state. There are great training seminars and opportunities each month to enhance personal skills. The camaraderie in this organization is exceptional and their sponsors are the best place to shop for your shooting gear. Thank you, AG AG, for all the great experiences I ve had. The sisterhood the compassion and understanding of everyone. The instruction is outstanding. This is an amazing event at an amazing price. Thank you!! OH how can I even put it in words???? EVERYTHING WAS THE BEST! Truly not disappointed in anything. It was amazing, so much education. That old saying, you don t know what you don t know until you know it applied every step I took. Maybe in a couple of weeks I can come up with a BEST ~~~ I loved the demos, I love the camaraderie and meeting so, so many ladies, and I loved learning. Can we make it longer? LOL This was my first AG AG Conference, so I didn t know what to expect. My local chapter had dissolved several months before conference, but I had such a great experience. Such a welcoming group, top notch instructors. Already looking forward to next year! Being a first timer, I was so impressed with the organizational skill of the coordinators for this conference everything and I mean everything for me went off without a hitch it was all so purrfect in every way. I learned so much, I enjoyed myself, I got to meet new women who shoot, and shoot for a purpose it was just FANTASTIC! I loved meeting you absolutely amazing gals, and the phenomenal instructors. Omg AERIAL GUNNERY!!! Just everything was really great but you gals and the instructors were the icing on the cake. Great group of women. Support and comradery at every turn. Ladies are there to help and explain any questions and insecurities. As a new shooter I have met new friends and gained confidence since joining the group. Monthly meetings and training at neighbor ranges give plenty of practice and email tips and advice are great and very informative. I love this group, everyone is so dedicated, so helpful, leadership is so knowledgeable, talented, pleasant and friendly! You ll never find a more welcoming, friendly, talented group of women! The mere fact that it s only women adds to the benefits and the bonding experience. I don t usually give reviews, but this group deserves it!! Definitely TOP rating! I was blown away at the quality of instruction-maybe not everyone was a perfect instructor but overall it was really good. You just can t beat that for the price. Best organization there is for ladies in the country to learn about firearms for self defense and the shooting sports! THANK YOU is not enough for the staff that puts this all together! My love and respect for AG AG is so strong. Events like this are so needed for us to continue to learn and grow in this sport and the quality of instruction that is put together is amazing. Job well done HQ for another year of greatness. I loved the hands on training that focused on what the group needed to work on and accomplish. This is the only training I have attended that asks the student what they want out of their training and tailors the courses to meet those needs. The environment is positive and empowering. It was an amazing experience and the ladies I met were awesome. It was extremely gratifying to see a tremendous amount of support for the badge that I’m very proud to put on every day to protect and serve my community. Every day, in every city and town across the country, police officers are performing vital services that help make their communities safer. Being afforded stellar training like this aids us in carrying out our mission with honor and integrity. The best part of conference was getting to know so many great people and learning so much information that would most likely take years to learn, all in a 4 day time span at a great location with so many nice people.
