We proudly represent a variety of painters, sculptors, and printmakers whose work presents exceptional quality and value. Many of our artists are well-known, some are mid-career and others are notable up-and-comers. This interesting mix of talents ensures an exciting and wide-ranging selection of art in terms of both style and price.

“Coming home from Rome, I wanted to apply all of those inspiring things that I’d absorbed and thought about while away. I began to delve into the photos I’d taken in Rome along with some that I’d taken the previous year of peonies. I began to delve deeper into the structure and colours of flowers and work at building intense compositions that are both dramatic and freeing, bold and inviting. I want the viewer to feel immersed.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I just painted. I didn’t imagine that anyone would be wanting paintings for some time. This was perhaps just the freedom I needed to paint exactly what I wanted to paint. I painted expansive bouquets of flowers because they consoled, gave hope, and they were a sensory experience that I craved when we couldn’t do much else or go anywhere. They filled our home with hope and beauty in a time of uncertainty and worry. They were a balm and they uplifted when it was easy to despair.” - Robert Lemay

Galleries West Magazine has featured on their website today an article on Phil Darrah: “Abstract painting offering a window into Contemplation” by Richard White. The article focuses on the works currently in our two-person exhibition, Works within a Continuum”. Robin Smith-Peck is the other half of this two-person show. The exhibition is on now and until April 20, 2022. It is a frabulous article giving an insight into what Darrah’s works offer.

Darrah & Smith-Peck come together in this two-person exhibition to celebrate the on-going growth and development of art. This exhibition is just a snap-shot of the growth of these two artists in their long-standing career and growth in their art. Always ever-changing, evolving, and experimentation is the core to each artist’s growth, as is illustrated in these works by both Darrah & Smith-Peck.
